Mustered in as Private in Company "M" on January 26, 1864.   Appointed Sergeant February 29, 1864.  Wounded July 8, 1864.  Commissioned Second Lieutenant July 9, 1864.   Promoted First Lieutenant and Regimental Commissary January 16, 1865.
